I've been part of this community for a little over a year now, but I'm just getting started making my own .png files for icons. What are the RGB values for the pink color we flood the backgrounds with? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks

For png images, you don't want to use Magic Pink. Create your png images on a transparent background, and be sure you save them with the existing transparency. Use magic pink (255,0,255) for transparent bmp, gifs, etc..... images formats that only support one color transparency.

#ff00ff is for magic pink. This is only will work with bmp, gif, jpg etc. like koa said you really don't want to use it with png files.

If you do use it with a graphic make sure you have edged NOT anti-aliased. it dasn't support aliasing, this means you WILL see pixel-edges if you dont use png. png files DO support anti-aliasing.
